On January 24th, we had 28 students visit our campus from Roosevelt High School. These high school students learned about valuable resources and ended up applying to KCC!
The Kuilei Outreach Program would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the following individuals/programs:
– Kristy Yoshikawa (Nursing Counselor) for her presentation about the Health Pathways and introducing resources and programs to guide students on their journey
– Deneen Kawamoto (Disability Student Support Office) for her presentation about intake appointments and assistance for the future students
– Aunty Coco and the Peers (First Year Experience) for their support in guiding the students in the application process
– Debralee Goto (Bookstore Manager) with aiding the students who were purchasing snacks and refreshments
– Erica Dias and the Library staff for allowing us to use the Computer Lab for our presentations and application submission
What makes our campus tours so amazing are the awesome faculty and staff that are willing to be part of this experience. Thank you and we hope to see you at the next tour!
