Virtual Campus Tours Footage Needed…

Hello Everyone,

The Kuilei Outreach Program is so thankful for your participation in our campus tours. What really made these campus tours successful was your willingness to provide an amazing experience for prospective students.

We are in the midst of a pandemic and therefore the in-person campus tours have been suspended. However, our team is still getting inquiries about campus tours. The Kuilei Outreach Team wants to design virtual campus tours for our campus and for your respective programs.

Our team is working in collaboration with Lisa Yamamoto, the Marketing Coordinator for our campus on this project. Here is where we need your help. If your program could do the following:

1) Provide footage from your class/program (this can be staged) to show prospective students what your class/program environment would look like.

2) A message from your department head to welcome the students would be awesome as well (although not necessary)

3) Talk about what your program is about and what students can expect.

4) Sell the end product and the program, so basically telling students what to expect upon graduating (examples of workforce opportunities, testimonies from previous students, etc…)

If you plan on filming this yourself, please use landscape mode and try to keep a steady shot. However, if you need assistance, Lisa and I are happy to help you with filming. Once you are done (or if you need assistance) please send your media footage to Lisa and Alfie, (lisany@hawaii.edu) & (alfredg@hawaii.edu). If you are too shy to talk about your program, Alfie can do some voice over work, but we feel that there is more of an impact when it comes from the program representatives. We are looking for a one to two minute video.

We will compile the videos to produce the virtual campus tour for prospective students and for future college fairs.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are more than happy to help out. Again we appreciate your willingness to help out the Kuilei Outreach Program! Thank you!

(We understand there might be some confusion about a previous post calling for testimonials and this campus tour project. The testimonial project focuses on highlighting individuals and this project is focusing on highlighting programs.)
