On February 25, we had the energetic 2nd and 3rd grade classes from Blanche Pope Elementary visit our campus. The Kuilei Outreach Programs wanted to send some shoutouts for those who participated to entertain this fun group of future college students:
Joy Oehler – Library – As always, the Scavenger Hunt is a hit! The students loved the interactive activity and also being allowed to run in a library.
Leigh Bouvaird – Anatomy and Physiology – You and your students did an amazing job interacting with the group by helping them to create their own take home X-rays.
Calvin Tan and Mike Ito – Accounting – The students loved learning a little bit about the importance of accounting/budgeting. They also loved the freebies.
Jan Fried – ASL – The students were still signing when they came back from your lesson. They were communicating with each other during lunch.
Also, thanks to our awesome tour guides, Simeon Kekumu and Kellen Muraoka from Kekaulike, Angela Coloretti McGough from Employment Prep, and Brandon Lukas Peer Mentor from First Year Experience.
We truly appreciate all the support! Hope to see you at the next tour!
