Aloha kākou,

The Kūloaʻa Project invites KCC students, faculty, and staff to practice sessions for those who wish to learn and experience the oli komo (entrance chant), Kū Ka ʻAlā, composed by Nāwaʻa Napoleon and performed as a hula pahu. This oli celebrates the fisheries of Kona, the moku in which KCC resides, and offers an opportunity for everyone to connect through chant, dance, and Hawaiian protocol.

Practice Schedule for this Week (3/10-3/14)

  • Tuesday, 3/11 | 2:00 PM in Manono 101

Practices are open to all who wish to deepen their understanding of Hawaiian culture. Come and immerse yourself in this meaningful experience! We hope to see you there!
