Why must one walk carefully around the Kiawe tree behind Kauila? Why is the Satin Leaf tree near ‘Iliahi called that? Why does the Royal Poinciana tree nearby have no leaves?
We will answer those questions at the third tree inventory session. We will also measure the trees around Kaulia and ‘Iliahi buildings.
Join us on Weds., Oct. 18, 8:30-10:30 a.m., at the ‘Iliahi outdoor amphitheater. We are a group of Biology, Botany and English students, faculty, staff and community members. Look for us in yellow shirts. Stay as long or as short as you’d like.
