It’s time for movie night at KCC! Join BOSA (Board of Student Activities) and PAU (Prevention Awareness Understanding) Violence Coalition as they screen a classic movie in honor of DVAM (Domestic Violence Awareness Month).
MOVIE: Fried Green Tomatoes
WHEN: Thursday 10/19 @ 4:00pm
WHERE: Ohia cafeteria
WHAT: Over 30 years after its release, the movie Fried Green Tomatoes remains a compelling story about a community that comes together to protect the most vulnerable in their community. The owners and patrons of the Whistlestop Cafe come together to protect their little community from gender-based and racial violence by creating an oasis where everyone is treated with respect, dignity and kindness. It is also a story about the many different forms love can take and its incredible healing power. This event is open to students, faculty & staff.
