The University of Hawai‘i, Kapi‘olani CC is pleased to have the assistance of many individuals who volunteer their services to help the University accomplish its mission. Volunteer participation benefits the University and can also be very rewarding to the individual volunteering. Departments/units are responsible for the oversight of all volunteer services and activities and for assessing the risks associated with volunteer services. KapCC HR will be hosting two identical training sessions via Zoom intended to assist University personnel in identifying, understanding, and complying with the requirements of the volunteer program and effectively managing risks and requirements.
If you work with volunteers or are planning to have volunteers in the future for your department, please plan on attending this session. All employees including casual hire, lecturers, student employees, RCUH employees are welcome to attend this session.
Two identical training sessions will take place on the following dates:
