Kapiʻolani Community College is committed to assessment for continuous improvement throughout the institution. The position of Institutional Assessment Coordinator has been revised and re-established to support this commitment. The CAC, Faculty Senate, ʻAha Kalāualani, Staff Council, and Student Congress have had input and have reviewed this position. As interim chancellor, I invite the faculty who believe in assessment for continuous improvement to consider applying for this position. The applicant should be seen by their peers as a leader in education, will have demonstrated in-depth knowledge of assessment, will have interpersonal skills to be able to connect with faculty and staff across the campus, will have planning and organizing skills, and will be able to serve for a five-year period.
