OER Office Hours will be taking a summer break starting in June…But before we go, please join us Friday, May 5th for the final OER Office Hours this school year.
We welcome Patrick Patterson, Professor of History, Humanities and Social Sciences at Honolulu CC and the co-author of World History: Cultures, States, and Societies to 1500 (chapters 1-3) for HIST 151. He will share about student feedback received in using this new text, as well as content localization considerations informing this OER text adaptation. Localization topics in this text include Pacific Voyages, Oceania, and environmental history content. We will discuss pedagogical approaches to making your course content more relevant to our students.
