A message from Alfred Gonzales, Kuilei Outreach Program Counselor

We had 20 McKinley High School students from the Tiger Media Learning Center visit our campus on December 5th to visit our New Media Arts Program. In addition to a general campus tour which provided an overview of KCC and the various support programs, the students were treated to presentations from our New Media Arts Instructors. Emily Moody did a presentation on Typography, Fonts, and Logos. Jake Shimabuku and Adam Moura did presentations about Animation.
In addition to New Media, on December 4th, we had 52 students from McKinley HS’s Business and Culinary Pathways visit our campus. They were treated to presentations from Counselor Lori Maehara for the Culinary Group and Instructors Michael Ito and Duane Seabolt for Business and Accounting.
Many thanks to the above faculty and staff members who presented for these tours.
