Are your students entering or coming back to school this semester ready to embark on a global adventure? The Gilman and Gilman-McCain scholarships can make their dreams a reality.
U.S. college students (including community college) can study abroad for up to $8,000 through the Gilman and Gilman-McCain scholarship programs. Applications for the fall are now open! (Apply here) These scholarships provide funding for students to study abroad in a variety of countries and programs. Here are some details on what a student can apply for.
Award amounts:
Up to $ 5,000 for all eligible students
Up to $8,000 with additional awards for critical need languages and STEM research
Eligibility:
U.S. citizen and Federal Pell Grant recipient (Gilman Program) Child or dependent of an active military member (Gilman-McCain Scholarship)
Receive any type of Title IV Federal Financial Aid (Gilman-McCain Scholarship)
Deadline:
October 10, 2024
