The QI Gong seminar with Sifu Randal Lau will be offered on Wednesdays, October 30 – December 4, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Kapi`olani Community College, Room TBA, Admission free for faculty, staff, Admin., and student employees. Participants will be introduced to the basics of QI Gong practice for health. Various methods, techniques, and principles common in Qi Gong and Internal Gong Fun will be shared. The practice known as “8 Brocades of Silk or Ba Duan Jin” will be demonstrated along with other practices and meditations.  Participants will be exposed to how Qi Gong can address physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being. The concept of Qi (Chi) will be shared, as well as still and moving meditation.

Although the exercises are low impact, participants are responsible for sharing any health concerns with Randal Lau and checking with their physician if appropriate. Health Information will be kept confidential.

Randal Lau is a practitioner and instructor of Chinese martial arts and a licensed massage therapist.
