The Kuleana Hui (Kahele, Nāwaʻa, Lavache, Keala M. Alissa K. and Michaelyn) have planned a day to honor Poʻomaikelani Kapoʻoloku on her birthday. As the sister of Kapiʻolani and the director of the Genealogical Society, Kapoʻoloku made significant contributions to preserving our heritage. In her honor, we will learn about the importance of moʻokūʻauhau from studentsʻ perspective and begin exploring the lineage of our disciplines, industries, and areas of study.
