The Curriculum Clinic is an opportunity to get hands-on, individualized support in tailoring well-constructed student learning outcomes, assessment planning and reporting, and curriculum documentation and process. Anyone who deals with curriculum updates and any instructional faculty member who would like to attend for SLO/assessment support is welcome and encouraged to attend!
- WHO: Anyone who is preparing curriculum proposals for submission in Fall 2024 is highly encouraged to attend; anyone who may want to get a jump start on future curriculum proposals is also welcome to join us.
- WHAT: The Curriculum Clinic is intended to be a “one-stop shop” experience for faculty with curriculum updates due in the fall.
- WHEN: Tuesday, August 20, 10:30-12:30
- WHERE: Lamakū Learning Center (2nd floor of Lama Library)
- WHY: It will be an opportunity to get critical information about assessment/CLR completion and SLO structure, which will be reviewed closely as part of the curriculum approval process, and learn about the KSCM submission process.
- HOW: The Curriculum Clinic is intended to be a highly productive, applied experience – you will not be sitting passively through info sessions; rather you will be supported in applying just-in-time information to your actual curriculum proposals, getting assistance from colleagues who are there to answer your specific questions, and completing the work you need to submit a successful curriculum proposal in the fall.
After a brief intro, you will rotate through 3 stations for specific, hands-on support:
- CLR requirements and support
- SLO requirements and support
- KSCM submission process and support
After participating in the Curriculum Clinic, faculty will be able to successfully submit a complete and properly prepared curriculum proposal.
If you’re submitting a curriculum proposal this fall, you do NOT want to miss the Curriculum Clinic!
