Aloha kākou,
Join us on Thursday, February 27, for a relaxing and creative Sit & Paint Workshop led by art instructor Corey Ajimine, affectionately known by her students as Miss AJ. In this hands-on event, participants will have the opportunity to paint the naupaka, a native Hawaiian shrub, and learn about the moʻolelo (story) of its origin.
The naupaka is renowned for its unique half-flower appearance, which, according to Hawaiian legend, symbolizes the separation of two lovers.
Open to all KCC students, faculty, and staff, this workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to connect, create, and share aloha through a meaningful cultural experience.
