We have History Theatre on Friday April 26th and are in need of volunteers for the following roles:

-2 Volunteers: Check in/Registration 5:00pm-6:15pm
-4 Volunteers: Group Guides 5:15pm-7:15pm
-2 Volunteers (21+): Bartenders 5:15pm-6:30pm
-2 Volunteers: Food Management 5:15-6:15pm
-3 Volunteers: Set Up 4pm-5pm
-3 Volunteers: Take Down 7:15pm

If you are able and would like to help out with any of these roles, please respond to this email with your selection: schoolprograms@missionhouses.org. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the event as well!

Special History Theatre: Rediscovering History

5pm: Food and Cocktails 6pm: Performances begin

(Honolulu, HI) Hawaiian Mission Houses will host a special presentation of History Theatre: Rediscovering History on Friday, April 26, 2024 on the grounds of the Hawaiian Mission Houses, 553 S. King St., Honolulu, HI 96813. Tickets are $45/person and includes a bento and 1 complimentary drink. Food and drinks will be available beginning at 5pm and the performances will begin promptly at 6pm.

Hawaiian Mission Houses brings history to life with carefully researched and scripted actor portrayals of figures from Hawaiʻi’s history.

History Theatre: Redisovering History will feature 4 portrayals focused on the history of libraries, archives, and museums in Hawaiʻi. Featured this year are:

Robert Crichton Wyllie (1798-1865)

George R. Carter (1866-1933)

Edna Allyn (1861-1927)

Charles Reed Bishop (1822-1915)
