Climate and Community Resilience in the Pacific: Brown Bag Seminar Series Part III
Join us for the final in our mini series of CERENE Seminars focused on Climate and Community Resilience in the Pacific with special guest speaker, Dr. Gregg Nakano. This Wednesday October 9th from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. You can attend either in-person at Olonā 115 and online via zoom. Explore how community-based resilience hub research on Oʻahu connects with participatory action research weaving Indigenous and Western knowledge systems for the Marshall Islands. Dr. Nakano will share specifically about climate impacts in Ebeye and the Kwajalein Atoll and his work with community partners there to support quality of life as long as possible and innovations in climate adaptation for the future.
Bring your lunch (and snacks to share!) while enjoying fresh coffee and popcorn!
