The Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad program offers U.S. educators in the arts, social sciences, and humanities the chance to participate in short-term international seminars. These seminars aim to enhance participants’ understanding of foreign cultures and peoples.
Destinations and Themes:
- For Postsecondary Educators: Greece & Türkiye (Turkey) – Building Bridges Across the Aegean: Cultural Heritage and Sustainability
Program Highlights:
- Cultural Immersion: Engage in educational lectures, activities, and school visits.
- Professional Development: Create or enhance cross-cultural curricula.
- Financial Support: The program covers costs (except $750 cost-share).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a US citizen/resident
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years’ experience
- Employed in U.S. education
- Educator in arts/humanities/social sciences (or relevant)
- Employed at seminar level
- Physically/psychologically fit
