About – The Centers for International Business Education and ResearchThanks to connections made while attending the IDEAS symposium in Washington D.C. in September, Kapi’olani Community College has been invited to partner with The Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) to offer a unique, fully funded opportunity for faculty and administrators. The CIBER Consortium for Education Abroad (CC/FEA) is now available to community colleges, like Kapi’olani, at no cost, providing comprehensive support to develop global education programs.

Once applied and approved, a team of 2-4 members from Kapi’olani would participate in webinars, workshops, networking, and mentoring sessions with experts to help create a strategic plan for expanding study abroad offerings. Kapi’olani will also receive an 18-month membership to The Forum on Education Abroad, valued at $5,000, plus discounts on additional professional development.

You can read more about the program, see the schedule, and apply here. The application deadline has been extended to November 22, 2024.
