As announced at the Spring 2025 Convocation, the Honda International Center is proud to introduce the Queen Kapi`olani International Travel Fellows Fund – an endowment generously established by former Chancellor Louise Pagotto. This fund represents a key milestone in our commitment to internationalizing Kapi`olani Community College, fostering global engagement, and equipping our campus community for success in today’s interconnected world.
Key Goals of the Queen Kapi`olani International Travel Fellows Fund:
- Study Abroad Programs: Empower faculty and staff to design and lead outbound programs that connect students with diverse cultures, foster global perspectives, and bring new ideas and experiences back to our campus.
- Professional Development: Support faculty and staff in attending international workshops, conferences, and collaborative projects, equipping them to advance the globalization of our campus.
- Global Partnerships: Strengthen collaborations with international institutions and organizations, enriching our community and positioning Kapi`olani Community College as a hub for global learning and innovation.
