CAORC-NEH Research Fellowship Opportunity
The Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC)-National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Research Fellowship offers scholars the chance to conduct advanced research in the humanities for 4–6 months in one of several overseas locations. The fellowship supports projects in a wide range of disciplines, including anthropology, history, philosophy, linguistics, and more. Selected fellows receive $5,000 per month for research conducted at Overseas Research Centers.
Eligibility
- Applicants must hold a PhD or terminal degree or have completed all requirements except for degree conferral.
- Must be U.S. citizens or foreign nationals who have resided in the U.S. for at least three years.
- Minority scholars and those from Minority-Serving Institutions are encouraged to apply.
Application Deadline: January 15, 2025
Notification of Award: Late March 2025
