Group picture of participants at campus workday

Last spring, Chancellor Misaki Takabayashi helped clear a pile of green waste and, later, plant an ʻōhiʻa lehua tree. She joined more than 30 members of the campus community at Mālama Kapiʻolani, the semesterly event to care for the green spaces at the College.

Join us for the 7th Mālama Kapiʻolani on Saturday, October 7, 8 a.m.-noon. Participants will weed, trim, and mulch in the campus botanical gardens, including Māla Māunuunu and the Native Hawaiian Plant Garden. Snacks will be provided, and the event will culminate with an educational tour and a tree planting. Sign up at this Google form [new window].
