On April 12, Kapiʻolani CC opened itʻs campus and hearts to welcome over 200 professionals, from high schools to colleges in the area of college counseling and college admissions, for the 2024 Hawaiʻi ACAC Annual Conference.
There were SO MANY helping hands so I apologize if you were overlooked but know you have a very special place in my heart.
Thank you the ELT for making this Conference a reality; team CELTT for everything from set up, troubleshooting, everything; Wanda for being VERY VERY VERY patient with me; Terry and the entire Security Team for keeping everyone safe; the Auxiliary Services Team for making the campus look amazing throughout the entire day; Chef Grant Sato and his Farm to Table students for the AMAZING AMAZING spread (people could NOT stop talking about it); Herve, Li-Anne and the STEM Team for opening up their classrooms; Annie, Gigi, and the Library Team for opening up the Library; ʻĀha Kalāualani for the BEAUTIFUL welcome ʻoli; Natalia Ortiz for the AWESOME speech (you had the entire house in tears); Alfie for supporting and prepping Natalia; Amy and Joe for opening the Maida Kamber Center to our attendees; and really everyone for making Kapiʻolani CC a very special place. The attendees felt it.
