The Kapiolani Community College Human Resources Department, in partnership with the Times Pharmacy, is organizing COVID Vaccination Clinic on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. For every 30 minutes, 10 spots are available. If all of the available spots are taken, you will be placed on a waiting list.

Insurance: Times Pharmacy accepts both HMSA and Kaiser insurance and the Moderna and Pfizer Vaccines are 100% covered for both. Other major insurance providers such as HMA, HMAA, UHA, Tricare, Medicare, and Quest are accepted. ASL-PSWA, Hawaii Labors Union, and USC-HWMA will not be accepted as they are not participating providers. Click here to see the out-of-pocket cost based on your provider.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine: SPIKEVAX (2023-2024 COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA) is an FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine made by ModernaTX, Inc. It is authorized under EUA to provide a single dose to individuals 12 years of age and older at least two months after completion of primary vaccination or receipt of the most recent booster dose with any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine.

Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine: COMIRNATY (2023-2024 COVID-19 Vaccine) is an FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine made by Pfizer-BioNTech. COMINRATY is a vaccine for use in people 12 years of age and older to protect against COVID-19. It is provided as a single dose to recipients at least two months after completion of primary vaccination or receipt of the most recent booster dose with any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine.

Without any insurance, the Moderna vaccine is $209.52 and the Pfizer vaccine is $186.90.

Please bring the following with you:

  • Unexpired government-issued photo ID
  • Insurance Card (e-copy is acceptable)
  • Completed Vaccine Consent & Pre-Vaccination Form (To download click here. Please complete this form, print it, and bring it along with you.)
