What is the 457(b) Island Savings Plan?

• The Island Savings Plan/ State of Hawaii Deferred Compensation Plan is an important State sponsored benefit that allows ERS eligible employees to save for retirement on a pre-tax basis. These contributions can then accumulate over time and supplement your State of Hawaii Employees’ Retirement System (ERS) and Social Security Benefits.
