Today is your last chance to get in on the HISSI fun!

If you haven’t yet done so, please register for the March 3rd 2023 Hawaiʻi Student Success Institute by Wednesday, February 15. This exciting systemwide, in-person event will be held at the Hawaiʻi Convention Center.  Kapiʻolani CC has over two dozen staff and faculty members who will be presenting/facilitating at this year’s conference.

This year’s event will be inclusive of all employees including those in faculty/lecturer, APT (Administrative, Professional and Technical), Civil Service (white and blue collar), and executive/managerial positions. UHCC System funding will be available to cover travel expenses for any full-time employees and lecturers that teach eight credits or more and want to attend this free conference.

The theme for this year is “Shared Purpose in a Post-Pandemic World“, and the keynote address will be given by Dr. Manulani Aluli Meyer from UH West Oʻahu. We have over 60 breakout session proposals, and we are looking forward to spending the day re-connecting with colleagues and friends across the system.

Register for 2023 HISSI by filling out the online form by February 15 at https://go.hawaii.edu/k2Q.
