Are you interested in getting PAID while exploring workforce issues in Hawai’i? The Summer Research Institute (SRI) at Kapiʻolani Community College and Chaminade University is a 10-week program where you’ll work with a faculty mentor on a research project related to your career interests to investigate issues in Hawai’i.
Example topics include pono cultural tourism (hospitality), incorporating Indigenous well-being in healthcare (nursing), and defining Native Hawaiian design (graphic design).
What you’ll do:
- Conduct hands-on research in your field of interest
- Collaborate with faculty mentors & industry partners
- Gain valuable real-world experience for your future career and resume
- Earn a $2,000 stipend for your participation
