Field Day.

As you (hopefully) know by now, Kapiā€˜olani Summer Camp is NEXT WEEK, July 31 – August 4. You can check out the awesome lineup of sessions in the 2023 Program – we have presenters from all 10 UH campuses and beyond!

But THIS post? This is all about Friday Field Day šŸ– Field Day is culminating day of Summer Camp and our only in-person day of events. Join us at Kapua (Kaimana Beach Park) next Friday for some seriously informative, valuable, engaging, and honestly, just super duper FUN sessions with friends and colleagues! Check out the Friday Field Day Sessions, which include hands-on, real-world fun. You can:

  • Shake it with some new Zumba buddies
  • Join fellow tree huggers to learn about Honolulu’s urban forest
  • Learn to throw net from Palakiko
  • Relax, connect, talk story, and learn to squash stress and burnout before the new academic year begins
  • Learn about the niu (coconut) and husk, cut, clean, and sand an ā€˜apu (coconut shell cup) with your bare hands!

Field Day sessions are the only ones with participation caps due to the nature of the events, but there are still currently spots available, so secure yours today via the Summer Camp registration form:
