- Philosophy students surveyed 76 people in this pilot study toĀ discover the factors that could influence participantsā moral views on the āÄina, considering their gender roles, cultural backgrounds, age groups, and affiliations to Kapiāolani Community College @ 11 am.
- Naupaka is native to HawaiŹ»i and was traditionally used as sunscreen and lÄ’au lapaāau. Could it be potentially used as a reef-safe sunscreen? @ 2:00 pm
- Resilience: Presentations on sustainable solar power designs for our local communities (look for engineering), a global look into how places have implemented microgrids to keep communities resilient during natural disasters (look for OEST), and what might digital resilience look like (CERENE 12 pm)?
- Students are working on drones that may one day be used to map out coastal erosion in our communities from 10 am to 12 pm
