Earth Day at KCC will be on Monday, April 20 from 10AM to 4PM

Our campus will be buzzing with roughly 30 community and student organizations, along with local food vendors and business that are committed to our Earth.  Join us for learning, fun, entertainment, and find out how you can make the world a better place.

The schedule of events includes:

10-10:45AM:  ‘Olelo Hawai’i Talk Story Session
10:45AM-12PM:  “The Beloved Community” presentation by Pua’ena Burgess (daughter of Aunty Puanani Burgess) in the Library Alcove
11-11:30AM:  Music by Daven Chang
11:40AM-12:10PM:  Music by Brian Park
12:00PM:  Liscious Dishes and the Vegetarian Society of Hawai’i present Cowspiracy, ‘the most important film made to inspire saving the planet,’ in the Library (room TBA)
12:15-12:45PM:  Music by Kiliona
1:00-2:00PM:  Music by Stephan Kane
2:00-4:00PM:  Free Yoga! Bring your own yoga mat or towel.

**Hawai’i Energy will be sponsoring a CFL exchange, so bring in your incandescent lightbulbs for free CFL ones that are more energy efficient.  Start saving money and the planet today!
