About this event:

Learn more about the U.S. Department of Education Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions Program by tuning in to a webinar hosted by Charles Sasaki, Dean of Arts and Sciences at Windward Community College.  The webinar will focus on AANAPISI/NSHI institutions, and funding opportunities under these two federal programs.

Every year, Kapiolani Community College applies for designation based on enrollment and other factors to become eligible for funding under Title III for both the Alaska Native / Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions (ANNH) and AANAPISI programs.  Currently, Kapiolani CC is receiving Title III ANNH funding under Part F (2014) and Part A (2015) legislation, and is ineligible to apply for AANAPISI funds unless there is significant reform on AANAPISI legislation that limit campuses to only 1 Part F or Part A awards (unless received through consortium).

Please visit the U.S. Department of Education’s AANAPISI program page for further information about this exciting grant program.
