Reminder — Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and capacity limitations, the Testing Center will continue to suspend all academic test proctoring services until further notice. Exceptions are being made only for those students who need to make up missed exams or need DSSO testing accommodations.

In order to receive accommodations, students are required to be registered with our Disability Support Services Office (DSSO) prior to testing with us. https://www.kapiolani.hawaii.edu/campus-life/student-services/disability-support-services-office-dsso/

The Testing Center also offers ATI-TEAS testing, language placement testing, and Accuplacer placement testing by appointment only. Students seeking Accuplacer placement testing must check with an academic advisor before registering for a test (see below for more information.)

All test takers are required to log in to LumiSight UH to do a health check and provide proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken within 7 days or a negative COVID-19 Rapid Antigen test result taken within 3 days of your testing appointment. Physical distancing measures are in place and test takers must wear a face covering during their exam and sanitize their own space. Cleaning supplies will be provided.

Accuplacer
Students needing an accuplacer placement test should first be referred to an academic advisor to see if they can place into courses using alternative placement methods. More information on Accuplacer can be found here: https://guides.library.kapiolani.hawaii.edu/testing/accuplacer-main

Make-up Testing
Placement and accommodations testing are prioritized. Appointments for make-up tests will be available as space allows. Instructors and students can email kcctest@hawaii.edu within three days in advance of the desired make-up test date to check if there are seats available.
